“I’ve been obsessed with hair and making people feel pretty since I was a kid.”

From the time she was a kid, Alex was obsessed with hair, and making people feel pretty. She grew up in Newport, Rhode Island, and came to South Carolina to pursue a degree in Marketing at Clemson University. After graduating in 2010 and being in the workforce for a few years, she decided to change her career path and go back to cosmetology school at Greenville Tech in 2014. Fresh out of school, Alex started working with Ivy, and the rest is history! She loves the togetherness, products, and goals of Ivy Salons, and being a part of her guest’s “hair journey” each and every day. To the surprise of those around her, Alex is actually pretty shy, and self-critical to a fault.
