The holiday season has arrived! I don’t know about you, but I simply cannot wait for non-stop Christmas music on the radio, piping through the stores and that wonderful warm fuzzy feeling that comes with this time of year.
Over the years, Thanksgiving has become my favorite holiday of all. The meaning of the holiday has never felt more important as we lead such busy lives- constantly running in different directions just trying to get through our daily to-do lists. But, for one day, we get a chance to pause, surround ourselves with the ones we love and count our blessings.
I know that sooner rather than later when we are empty-nesters, Thanksgiving will bring me even more joy to have my babies home and together. But, this year I am truly thankful to have Jacob and McKenna home for the holidays.
On that note, thank you to every single one of you for giving me the greatest blessing of all. Being part of your lives and this community is a gift every single day and one that I will never take for granted.
