College football in the South is serious business. So is tailgating. I’ve talked to friends across the country who think they know what a college tailgate is- until they actually attend one down here. Game day isn’t just showing up an hour or two before kickoff in a t-shirt and jeans. No, no. Saturdays in the fall revolve around your alma mater. It’s not just a few hours. Preparations and post-event clean up essentially dominate your weekend. From cooking enough food to feed a small army to packing up the car with every table, tent, and chair you can get your hands on, to finding that perfect outfit that shows your team spirit while still being on-trend, and then actually attending the 3 (sometimes 4) hour game.

Every weekend is a marathon.

Thankfully, we’ve got you covered with some great tips to create the perfect tailgate. And don’t forget, if you’re looking for that perfect game-day look, stop by Ivy for a blowout or a visit to our braid bar. Whether you’re a Tiger or a Gamecock, we’ll make sure you’re looking your best.

Cheers (and GO TIGERS!)
