This year instead of making a resolution that I likely won’t keep, I’m setting an intention for 2019. Knowing myself, a daily intention may be hard to follow through with- so I’ve decided an annual intention is the way to go.

Often, we get so wrapped up in what we have to do next- tomorrow, next weekend, next month- and we forget to stop and be truly present in what’s happening right now. I’m very aware that we are about to be empty nesters (sooner than we’d like) so I want to savor every moment I can while McKenna is still here at home- especially the moments when we’re lying on the couch watching Hallmark movies in our pajamas. My 2019 intention will be to live in the moment. To stop worrying about what’s next and focus on what’s happening right now.

I challenge each of you to set an intention for this coming year- something that you can reflect on from time to time- and see how you are doing. No pressure to set unrealistic goals- but something you can be more mindful of as the days, weeks and months go by as we take another trip around the sun.

I wish you all a 2019 for the books!

Cheers,

Dreama
