Over the years, I’ve worked different jobs from waitress to drive-thru cashier, and of course now as the owner of Ivy Salon, but truly the hardest job I have ever had is being a mother. It wasn’t until I became a mom 20 years ago that I understood what my mom went through to raise four kids; what she meant by unconditional love; and the sacrifices that she was more than happy to make to ensure my two sisters, brother and I had everything we wanted or needed.
I am so blessed to be a mom and hope this Mother’s Day you will take time to thank a mom in your life- whether it is your own mother, the mother of your children, or a friend- let them know that every little thing they do does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
With Mother’s Day just around the corner that also means graduation season is upon us! It’s time to send off our children into the world to pursue their dreams and ambitions.
Whatever occasion you may be celebrating this month, we hope you’ll come see us at Ivy and let us take part in the festivities. Nothing makes mom feel more pampered than a fresh blowout!
Cheers,
