Gratitude has become such an important word to me over the years. And while it’s easy to forget on a day-to-day basis to be grateful for all the wonderful blessings we have, this time of year there are constant reminders, from the adorable farmhouse signs in stores to the turkey that will sit on our table in just a few weeks.
Every year around this time I like to reflect on how lucky I am as a wife, mother, business owner and mentor.
There are no words to express how thankful I am for the incredible team at Ivy. This November, we celebrate 15 years in business! Every one of our team members has contributed to the success of Ivy and where we are today.
It’s amazing to think back to 2004 when it was just myself and three others — Tuesday, Michelle and Vanessa — at our original Eastside location. We now have two thriving locations and more than 25 stylists and guest care team members. When people ask when I knew that Ivy would be a “success”, I can’t help but think that we are still working on that! I never really thought about a second location, but when downtown Greenville started to show signs of revitalization, I saw an opportunity and decided to go for it. I think we can always strive to be better …. for our guests and our team.
I am so grateful for every one of you who contribute to the many blessings I am thankful for this year. I wish you all a magical holiday season, and THANK YOU.
